All accrediting associations now require institutions of higher learning to show how they go about assessing SLO’s. This webinar series will provide a primer for writing student learning outcomes to describe how you want the student to demonstrate what he or she knows or can do. This program will discuss the three main components of SLO’s and provide specific examples of career services based SLO’s. In addition, assessments should be designed to show proof that specific outcomes are being achieved. This program will provide specific examples of multiple types of assessment strategies that may be employed such as objective, subjective, qualitative, quantitative, performance, direct, and indirect.
