The term meditation is a widely used term. It is one that is not clearly understood by those outside of what is known as Eastern philosophies, religions, and practices. Though the mainstream may consider it a religious or spiritual practice, it is not. It is a skill YOU develop.
Having this skill will help you identify where you hold stress physically an how to manage it on the physical and mental level.
This can help you in the development of other skills, like mental focus, and physical endurance and strength. Even at work--organization, sales techniques, etc.
In this workshop you will develop this skill through different meditation techniques without the esoteric stigma, but supported by conventional and holistic medicine today. You will learn it in a practical, down to Earth, day to day practice you can implement however hectic your schedule might be.
Please bring water and whatever else you need to be comfortable--blanket, towel, etc. We will have chairs as most of the workshop will be sitting, except at the end. At the end we will end will a meditation lying down. Yoga mats are available for rental at Reflections Yoga.
