Event Details

Streetsblog Capitol Hill has long been jealous of the swanky galas our compatriots up in New York City throw every year, and we got inspired to throw our very first Streetsblog Capitol Hill soiree! Please join us for a winter warmer happy hour in DC's transportation-themed bar, The Passenger (in the train car) -- right next door to BicycleSPACE.

We look forward to seeing our partners in the livable streets movement -- local, national, and armchair -- and meeting some of our readers that we might only know by their Disqus handles. We'll have a raffle for some fabulous* Streetsblog prizes -- they make great holiday gifts!

Note: If you're like me and love bringing your kids to bars (what's wrong with that?!) I have bad news for you: The Passenger strictly interprets their 21+ rule. We'll have a Streetsblog playdate in the spring for all the little ones.

* By "fabulous" I mean "t-shirts and stickers."

Streetsblog USA

Since 2006, Streetsblog has covered the movement to transform our cities by reducing dependence on private automobiles and improving conditions for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders. Streetsblog New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, the national Streetsblog Network, and Streetsblog USA connect local, grassroots transportation reform advocates with one another and to a national movement for reform. Streetsblog USA covers federal policy and legislation, as well as trends and movements around the country to ditch the antiquated highway-centric model for a more sustainable transportation system.
