Free Arts NYC

Free Arts NYC is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing under-served children and families with a unique combination of educational arts and mentoring programs that help them to foster the self-confidence and resiliency needed to realize their fullest potential.
With the help of dedicated and caring volunteer mentors, Free Arts NYC partners with community-based organizations throughout the city to take a “cradle to college” approach, providing arts-based mentoring for youth from pre-K all the way through high school. In programs, youth and parents develop communication and problem-solving skills through art-making. And the relationships they build with program facilitators and volunteer mentors create a supportive community that fosters confidence and self-esteem.
