Come enjoy the outdoors and make a difference with Heal the Bay’s Stream Team!
Invasive plants have negative impacts on natural habitats, so removing them is vital for a healthy watershed. Enjoy the fresh air and sunshine while helping remove non-native vegetation in the newly restored Malibu Lagoon.
- Please wear sturdy shoes
- Bring plenty of water and a snack
- Bring sunscreen/hat
- Be prepared to get dirty
- Gloves and tools will be provided or bring your own gloves and trowel
Directions: Parking is available along Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) near Cross Creek Rd. or at the lot by the library at 23519 W. Civic Center Way Malibu, CA 90265. We will meet at the Lagoon, near Cross Creek Rd., south of PCH. Look for the Heal the Bay folks.
All participants must sign liability waiver forms, available at the event.
This event is open to volunteers age 10 and over. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Those under 18 must have their waiver form signed by a parent or guardian.
