Event Details

Learn how to develop a networking strategy for your job search when Mike Perry comes to the Hudson Library & Historical Society on Wednesday, October, 10, 10 to noon.

Perry is the President of Szarka Financial in North Olmstead.  He has helped hundreds of people improve their performance in the areas of career development, sales, teambuilding, technology and communications.  Perry has held leadership positions in the United Way, Lake County Development council and the Lake County Community Development Corporation and is frequently requested to speak to job seeker groups.

At this workshop, job seekers will learn how to determine their personal brand and to incorporate it into their networking discussions.  Perry will teach strategic networking and how to tell your story effectively, leverage social media to expand networking reach and build relationships for taking control of the hiring decision.

In addition to this workshop, Perry will be presenting another program on December 10 at 6:30, “Managing Financial Issues During a Career Transition.”

Please register online for the networking class at www.hudson.lib.oh.us, Adult Programs.  For more information contact the Reference Desk at 330-653-6658 x1010.
