At the event, we will discuss successful production of award-winning short films and factors in making the jump to features, then we will screen selected "168" entries not previously viewed (films will screen in part or complete-see list).
Then the Winners of the EchoLight Award (a production budget up to $1 Million) will be front and center. Hear Nathanael and Christina Matanick's heart for their feature film to be. The Matanicks and 168 Media, LLC will hear pitches on behalf of EchoLight Studios and Chris Armstrong will hear pitches for a future, funded production (see below).

Derrick Warfel, Producer
Derrick is the producer of "Midnight Reckoning," an independent feature in the suspense/supernatural thriller genre. He is 168's Master Teacher and a graduate of USC Film School, Princeton University, Dallas Theological Seminary and the Warner Bros. Writer's Workshop.
Christina Lee Storm, Producer
Christina Lee Storm is an international independent producer. Her most recent producing credits include "To Save A Life," "The Least of These," and "Flesh: Bought & Sold in the US," a documentary about human trafficking in the United States.
Christina was Production Supervisor for 2012 Oscar-winning film "The Artist." She was Manager of Digital Production at Rhythm & Hues Studios, which recently won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects for Life of Pi. She currently serves as Executive Director of Act One: Writing for Hollywood.
Chris Armstrong, Director
Chris is the writer/director of multiple films including "God's Country" distributed by Image Entertainment and commercials such as Doritos' "The Chase." Upon location of a great script, Chris has access to funds via a production agreement with a studio. He is experienced in all aspects of development and production from working on feature films and with clients such as Sony, Microsoft, Fox, Frito-Lay, and the LA Clippers. He has directed acting showcases viewed by industry players like Sam Raimi ("Spiderman") and David Mamet. Chris is married to award-winning actress Jenn Gotzon ("God's Country").
