Join author and photographer Douglas Keister as he returns to Green-Wood’s Historic Chapel for a discussion of his newest book, Stories in Stone New York: A Field Guide to New York City Area Cemeteries & Their Residents. Keister will present stunning photographs of gracious architecture (including Green-Wood’s Historic Chapel, left), fabulous artwork, and memorable gravesites of famous and not-so-famous New York–area “residents” resting peacefully in its beautiful cemeteries, including Green-Wood. Following the book talk, Keister will be joined by Green-Wood’s historian Jeff Richman for a trolley tour to many of the locations within Green-Wood highlighted in Keister’s book.
