Join us at the release party for a brand new Stone Collaboration beer with rare Stone brews Tuesday, 10/8 at Rock &Brews El Segundo!

  • Be the first to enjoy the new 9.6% Stone, 10 Barrel, & Bluejacket Suede Imperial Porter, brewed with local Avocado Honey, Jasmine, and Calendula Flowers to create a rich, seductive, sweet roasty brew. It's tough to put this flavor into words.
  • Sip the rarely seen 2012 Old Guardian Barleywine aged in White Wine Barrels. The first Stone brew with Cascade hops, it's excessive in every way, with wine tannins, bitter oaky undertones, and a dry finish.
  • Fill up on special food pairings, 3 limited release IPAs like the Dandelion IPA, & more specialty beers!

UPDATED! We'll also have the long-gone 2011 Stone/The Bruery/Elysian La Citrueille Celeste De Citracada, brewed with pumpkins grown on Stone Farms, yams, rye, toasted fenugreek, birch bark, and lemon verbena.

Join the party with the Stone crew for 6 awesome beers (see the full beer list below), and RSVP here to save your spot!

Stone Rare Beer Night & Launch Party for Collaboration Imperial Porter at Rock And Brews on Tuesday, October 8 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM!

They'll be serving some outstanding beers, including a brand new collaboration Imperial Porter, a barrel-aged Barleywine, and 3 IPAs!

Stone / 10 Barrel / Blue Jacket Collaboration Suede Imperial Porter

Robust Porter - 8.4%
Together, Southern California's Stone, DC's Bluejacket, and Oregon's 10 Barrel decided on a sturdy yet velvety base of imperial porter and developed a plan to celebrate the bounty of the environs in which it was produced by harvesting avocado honey, jasmine and calendula flowers (some from our very own Stone Farms) and infusing them into the beer to create something complex and uniquely Southern Californian. Consider it craft cross-pollination at its finest.

The Bruery / Elysian / Stone La Citrueille Celeste De Citracada

Spice/Herb/Vegetable Beer - 5%
In 2011, Stone Brewing Co.'s Steve Wagner and Mitch Steele worked with The Bruery's Patrick Rue and Tyler King (Placentia, CA), as well as Elysian Brewing Company's Dick Cantwell (Seattle, WA) to develop Bruery / Elysian / Stone La Citrueille Celeste de Citracado, an amber ale brewed with pumpkins grown on Stone Farms, yams, rye, toasted fenugreek, birch bark, and lemon verbena.

Stone Ruination IPA (Updated)

Imperial IPA - 8.2% 100 IBUs
After much experimentation, we've increased the ABV to 8.2% and tweaked the hops for a beer the beer just a little bit more. The additional intensity is a modest modification, but it's our preference in a side-by-side analysis. So called because of its truly "ruinous" effect on your palate, this massive hop monster will change forever your preconceptions of what defines good beer. This is Stone IPA's big brother, and we mean BIG. We essentially began with our already-awesome Stone IPA, threw in an extra-large helping of malt, and added a lot more hops. And then some more. And then even more, resulting in a vibrant blast of citrusy bitterness that hits you on the first sip. Just one taste and you'll know why we call this indelicate jewel "A liquid poem to the glory of the hop!"

Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale

Black IPA - 8.7%
Brace yourself, bereaved fans of Stone 11th Anniversary Ale, for your joyous new day has finally come! It's like your first crush--you know, the one who broke your heart when she/he decided to go to the junior prom with what's-their-name--has suddenly come back to you to go for a cruise down the main drag on Friday night. It's like...it's like finding that long lost gold watch, given to you by your father, who got it from his father, who got it from his father. It's like when your best buddy in the world, Sam the family dog, finally sauntered up the front porch steps one sunny afternoon after having been on a six-week runaway. Yes, it's just like that. And it's like this: A brilliantly hopped double IPA--providing a wake up call of floral and citrus aromas--backed up by a deliciously smooth and dark roasted maltiness. You get the best of both worlds with this black double IPA.

Old Guardian Barley Wine 2012 - White Wine Barrel Aged

American Barleywine - 11% 85 IBUs
Barley wines are traditionally hefty brews, but ours is downright excessive. The huge maltiness of this beer is only tamed by an equally prodigious addition of hops, creating a rich, slightly sweet, caramel-hued ale infused with assertive bitterness and bright hop notes, all culminating in a pleasing dryness. We make small adjustments to the recipe every year, just a little bit...as it provides an opportunity to try some different hops or malts. For the 2012 release, we made a deliberate effort to move away from the English hop influence of the past few years, taking out the East Kent Golding hops, subbing in a blend of American Chinook, Calypso and Cascade. This is the first use of Cascade in one of our beers, and we really enjoyed the hints of grapefruit and pine it contributed to the aroma and flavor. Then we aged it in White Wine Oak Barrels, because we can. Vanilla, wine tannins, and an oaky bitterness undertones found their way in.

Stone Farms Dandelion IPA

American IPA - 6.9%
Stone IPA brewed with organic Dandelions from Stone Farms. Limited batch, typically only available at the brewery or farm.

Arrogant Bastard Ale - Fresh Amalia Hopped

Strong Ale - 7.2%
Glorious Arrogant Bastard, brewed with fresh Amalia Hops from Stone Farms. This is an aggressive beer. You probably won't like it. It is quite doubtful you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality or depth. We would suggest you stick to more familiar territory - maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it's made in a little brewery, or one that implies that its tasteless fizzy yellow beer will give you more sex appeal.

Cheers!
