Participants should bring their own laptops to work on.
This boot camp will run from 13:00 to 18:00 on April 8 and 12:00 to 16:00 on April 9. Please note the different times on the second day.

- Collaboration and provenance with Git and GitHub
When & Where
UM Postdoc Office/Postdoc Association and Software Carpentry
UM Postdoc Office's mission is to connect you with the abundant resources available within your department, across campus and around town and to advocate for postdocs in University policy discussions. We help each fellow become a successful, independent scientific professional.
UM Postdoctoral Association is a volunteer organization whose main objective is to represent the interests and issues of postdoctoral fellows at the University of Michigan. We are an organization dedicated to bridging the training gap between the laboratory and the changing culture of biomedical science.
Software Carpentry teaches researchers in science, engineering, and medicine the skills and tools they need to use and build software more productively. We have over a hundred volunteer instructors in a dozen countries and all of our lesson materials are freely available under a Creative Commons license. Software Carpentry is a project of Mozilla Science Lab.
