When you look at a digital image of a flower, do you ever consider that there might be a data file hidden inside it?

 This is the purpose of steganography which is a technique for hiding data inside other data, in such a way that you do not suspect there is anything hidden. This poses a threat to security, as secret hidden information may be malicious in nature, undetectable, and even unreadable.

 Join us for this webinar to better understand these complex issues and some possible methods for addressing them.

 Faculty:

The webinar will be facilitated by James L. Antonakos who is a SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of Computer Science at Broome Community College, in Binghamton, NY, where he has taught since 1984. Antonakos is the designer and director of the new 2-year AAS Degree in Computer Security and Forensics at Broome Community College. Antonakos is the author or co-author of over 40 books on computers, networking, electronics, and technology.

This webinar qualifies for 1 CPE credit from IAPP.
