STEAM Girls - Camp for Middle School Girls

Community Bridge Video are offering another week-long camp for middle school girls interested in STEAM. Same format as the Spring Break camp, but this time in the last week of Summer.

The camp will take place in a girls-only area at Tech Liminal, a female owned technology salon in downtown Oakland. Featurning hands-on activities, this is a great opportunity to encourage your middle school child to pursue interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.

Girls will create content for a website about their experiences and....

• Program in HTML & CSS.
• Make wearable electronics to light up clothing.
• Identify local bugs, bees, and butterflies.
• Explore math with fractals.
• Write blog posts for their website.
• Build and play with Minecraft.

Cost:

$90 for each day plus supplies. To apply for a full or partial scholarship, pay the materials fee to reserve your space, and fill out the scholarship application at this link.

Payment is accepted through Eventbrite, or by check in person at Tech Liminal. You can avoid the EventBrite convenience fee by paying in person.
