Have an idea for an app? Want to build a mobile or web app in 24 hours???
Join us for this special hackathon designed especially for college students. Learn what it takes to build an app and build a prototype in 24 hours in this fast paced hack competition. Prizes and food will be provided throughout the event. Meet startups from Silicon Valley, NYC, DC and ATL, and build an application side by side with them. (Psst - looking for an internship or job after college? This will be a cool opportunity to meet your future company)
Who should attend this event? Any college student interested in learning about startups or working at a startup or tech company.
Note: You must be a current college student to participate in this event.
Do I have to know how to code? It does help. However, there are many other people involved in hackathons, such as designers, creative idea people, or marketing biz people. If you don't know how to code, but are interested in learning, check out online tutorials like Codecademy. Plus, there will be plenty of mentors at the event, if you need help coding.
