Why you should play #Startupbball:
Let’s face it; the startup/tech world can be stressful. Days are full of meetings: dealing with programmers, the marketing team, and the product development team, etc. Then 5 pm rolls around, yet the work doesn’t stop there. The vast majority of networking functions that take place after work hours either involve getting drinks in a crowded bar, or sitting (napping) through less than thrilling PowerPoint presentations. What does this mean? Today’s tech entrepreneur = functioning alcoholic + out of shape.
With so much time spent on the daily grind, entrepreneurs need the natural stress reliever that is exercise. Plus, many of us geeks like to compete athletically as well! So come on and play some ball in the name of a good cause...
