About Startup Weekend: Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide and educational experience for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs alike. The event kicks off Friday night with pitches, followed by team formation, planning, and execution, all culminating in final business pitches and product demos on Sunday night. Participants collaborate with like-minded individuals to create working startups over the course of the weekend. Participants get an opportunity to hear talks from and get mentored by industry leaders and entrepreneurs. If you're looking for feedback on a idea, seeking a co-founder, wanting to learn about entrepreneurship, or just want to have fun building something cool while making new friends, Startup Weekends are the perfect environment.
Terms of Participation Agreement: It is our job to provide you with an incredible networking and learning opportunity. The event is intended to be a collaborative forum for sharing, learning, building, and having fun. As such, by registering as a participant, you acknowledge that any ideas shared by you or anyone else over the course of the event are contributions to the overall experience and community. If you, as a participant, are worried about someone stealing your ideas, please reconsider your participation in the event or refrain from sharing and working on your idea.
