Fundraising for an early-stage venture can be very challenging for entrepreneurs. 1 in a 100 typically get funded, 99 don't. Harsh. Daunting. But you can change the game, and the odds. By understanding the fundraising landscape and what’s important you can be more successful. Listen and learn from a seasoned group of insiders - successful entrepreneurs and angel investors in the London tech startup scene - willing to share lessons learned, do-s and don't-s, and a different angle at the challenge of fundraising when you are still small and growing.

Richard Fearn is the Director of The Friday Club London, a not-for-profit that brings marketers closer to the tech startup community. He is also an early stage investor in technology startups and a judge at Startup Weekend London. In 2013 Richard was named in BIMA's 'Hot 100' list which comprises of those who have had a big impact on the digital industry in the past 18 months.
Alex Depledge is a co-founder of Teddle, a London-based startup growing services locally and matching trustworthy providers to busy customers. Teddle was part of the Springboard accelerator programs graduating class of 2012, as a result of which Alex was able to raise a significant round of funding. Alex is known as a driver, innovator and inspirational people manager that hits deadlines and gets stuff done.
Rose Lewis has over 15 years of experience in early stage fundraising (her track record includes 3i, Creative Capital Fund and Pembridge) and is a champion for creative and digital startups in the London tech scene. Now the founder of Digital Accelerator Collider12, Rose is also a mentor at Seedcamp and Cherie Blair Foundation.
Stefano Tresca is a co-founder at iSeed London - bringing foreign talent to the city and advising and investing into their startup. Former programmer, part-time laywer, part-time investor.
