Bret Tobey, Carvoyant
Bret Tobey likes Shakespeare, but when his friend demonstrated an early version of the Mosaic browser he realized he was studying the wrong thing set aside English Lit and his first tech job started that week. Bret has worked in multiple startups ranging from empowering physical therapists to a farmers market and for global companies like Diebold. When Bret was told he would make a better entre preneur than employee, he took that as a compliment and decided to found his own new venture and help others with theirs. He has built Carvoyant around solving a very common point of pain, “what does my check engine light mean?” and “who do I trust to get it fixed?” Come learn about how Bret buiilt a thriving company here and what he has learned along the way.
