General Manager of Uber in Sydney, on Thursday 25th July at Fishburners. Uber is a game-changing startup, providing quality, on-demand car requests (BMW, Mercedes, etc.) with the touch of a button. Uber is headquartered in San Francisco, and following the success in America and various international cities, Uber launched in Sydney in November last year and Melbourne in January.
David Rohrsheim is responsible for bringing the Uber experience to Australia, where he convinced Uber CEO Travis Kalanick about the potential of Uber succeeding in Sydney. David is General Manager of Uber operations in Sydney, and oversees everything from vehicle supply and demand, driver and customer relations, Uber partnerships, and growth. Previous to Uber, David worked at venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) and graduated with a MBA from Stanford University and The University of Adelaide in Engineering.

Arj Selvam, Director of Startup Grind Sydney
Arj has a background in business development and strategy and most recently worked at Vodafone Australia within the strategy team. In 2009 Arj created his own eponymous fashion brand and presented his collection at Mercedes-Benz Australian Fashion Week in 2011. Arj holds honours degrees in B.Eng (Mechanical) and B.Com (Corporate Finance, Investment Finance) from The University of Western Australia.
Adam Muniz, Director of Startup Grind Sydney
Adam Muniz, 27, is the founder and director of renowned Australian e-commerce and media website For Tomorrow. Founded in 2007, For Tomorrow specializes in niche high-end fashion and lifestyle products. In 2010, Adam founded For Tomorrow Creative, which is the digital media and creative arm that provides coverage of fashion weeks around the world as well as providing e-commerce and digital marketing solutions for external clients. The For Tomorrow website is a custom built platform and has a large following in Australia and key fashion centres around the world. Adam splits his time between Sydney, Paris, London and New York, travelling the fashion week circuit, as well as provides mentoring to younger designers. Adam studied a degree in commerce, majoring in marketing at The University of Wollongong.
