YOOSE is the global hyper-local mobile ad network, the service helps leading brands and agencies to effectively target and engage mobile consumers on a hyper-local level. YOOSE was founded by Christian Geissendoerfer in 2008. Prior to founding YOOSE, Christian had has various marketing and sales experiences in the IT software environment, past professional experience in the routes to market strategy and lead management work at IBM for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) geography across brands and customer sets.
The idea for YOOSE was inspired by a location based dating idea. By then, he was not pleased with large space occupied by advertisement when he was trying to read his favorite German newspapers online. He wished there were a more effective advertising channel on mobile phone which should be both pleasant for mobile users and effective for retailers. These ideas and his passion for location based technology led him into a truly innovative solution - a location based marketing channel. Banners with embedded coupons of nearby stores show uses ways to reach nearest redeemable stores. His business model of “Location, banner and coupons” achieves the mission of “ delivering right message to the right person in the right time and time right place (R4)”.
The business solution is very well received by big corporations. Orange (mobile phone operator in the UK) is one of the loyal and proud customers in YOOSE. This business solution can be implemented worldwide easily. With teams based in Singapore, Europe, and America, YOOSE has achieved key strategic partnerships. Moved to Singapore in 2010, Christian hoped to expand worldwide especially the Asian and North America market.Meet Christian at our monthly fireside chat on 23rd September to learn more about hyper-local mobile ad network space.
