A big warm welcome to Startup Grind Shenzhen Chapter's very first female speaker, Allison Baum A New Yorker who resides in Hong Kong working alongside with General Assembly in pursuit of transforming thinkers into creators; building an educational community for technology, business, and design in Asia. Graduated with a B. A. degree in Economics from Harvard University, Allison joined Goldman Sachs as Analyst, Equity Derivative Sales, where she gained her hands-on experience in the Investment Banking Industry. Longing for the "freedom" that rooted deep in her heart, the journey of a post-corporate adventure of an aspiring entrepreneur in Hong Kong finally begins. Join us this Saturday for a fireside chat with Allison; A story about her entrepreneurial road in this rising tech center.
