Tom Carver is the head of the Wragge & Co office in Guangzhou. Wragge & Co is an international law firm with  1000 staff stationed in five countries. Tom advises UK and international clients on China-related work, and he also works with Chinese companies to navigate UK law. He is a UK qualified lawyer with extensive IP litigation experience in both the UK and in China. Further, Tom has broad experience in commercial and corporate work in China.

Nrupesh Soni, Guangzhou Chapter Co-Director

Nrupesh Soni has spent 10 years in China, from 1999-2009, providing ICT Solutions, Security Assessment and Training to Chinese companies as well as specialising in customised sourcing solutions for companies around the globe. He then spent 3 years in Namibia, Southern Africa, doing Investment Consulting. While in Africa, he launched 2 startups and provided ICT and E-Government Solutions. In 2012, Soni returned to China, getting back into IT, startups, and investment. Soni has organised over 30 IT networking events since 2002 in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.
