Having done his Honours in BComm at Stellenbosch University and a stint at UCT in Entrepreneurship, Rob went from working at Fairview Cheese and Wine and being an operations manager at Jack Black Breweries to successfully starting up the innovative League of Beers. The League of Beers was started for exceptional craft beers and extraordinary craft beer drinkers, out of a mutual respect of all things greatly brewed to perfection. Guillaume De Smedt, Director of Startup Grind Cape Town

Guillaume De Smedt Studied Electronics and Programming at Tshwane University of Technology [TUT] and is currently doing his Bachelors in Electronic Engineering at Cape Town University of Technology [CPUT]. "G", as he is otherwise known, started his career at a local Telecommunications Company. He then worked for Daimler Chrysler where he enjoyed working with robots and advanced sensors. Following his stint at the car manufacturer, he joined One Digital Media. Here he was the Electronic Design Engineer creating interactive displays. He currently runs an online marketing & web development company in Cape Town. Guillaume's driving forces are Simplicity, Functionality & Beauty. He loves life, positive attitudes and amazing people with awesome ideas.
