Event Details

Neighborhood and school gardens grow fresh, healthy food – and they also grow community!

Learn how to get a garden project off the ground with practical tips and examples from the field. Topics include community organizing, land agreements and garden guidelines, site planning, getting fresh local food from the garden into the community, and maintaining strong garden leadership. With a Q & A and lots of resources to take home, this workshop will give you lots of ideas and the tools you need to start and sustain a local garden project.

Presented by Jess Hyman of the Vermont Community Garden Network.
