Today at lab we will be talking about a startup platform called WeDo, which is cofounded by Translator and local entrepreneur Brian Mayer.
WeDo—a mobile and web-based platform for visual, collaborative wedding planning. Wedding planning is inherently both visual and collaborative in nature; however, the tools that are available to facilitate the process are individual in nature. WeDo seeks to change that. The goal of WeDo is to be built based on the input and feedback of brides and industry professionals. After all, these are the people who will eventually be using it!
Join us for coffee?
We would love to invite you to join us for a coffee group discussion (yes, an actual discussion; not a presentation masquerading as a discussion) about the tools of the industry, your thoughts on how they could be improved, and some ways that WeDo might be able to solve collaboration problems in the industry.
So what exactly is WeDo and who is it for?
For brides, WeDo is a mobile/web-based visual collaboration platform that simplifies decision making through the sharing of visual ideas and organizes the ideas and conversations around those ideas in a simple, easy to use app.
For wedding businesses, WeDo is the social marketing and communications platform that provides vendors an industry-wide platform to work with their brides and vendor partners on the current work as well as market to, engage and communicate with potential and current clients and vendor partners.
