"Wishing Upon a Penny" centers around Mr. Ayd who is a homeless man living in Alter Park. With no monetary means he ironically gives knowledge in hopes of making an altering impact in people’s lives. Mr. Ayd draws from his experiences to serve as a beacon of heroism throughout the park.
The Jackson’s main concern is raising money for their daughter Daisy who is in need of congenital heart surgery. Taylor Jackson, struggling car salesmen, is carrying the weight of coming up with the money on his shoulders.
The exposition unfolds as Taylor is adhering to not talking with strangers but finds Mr. Ayd has become his last resort. The plot thickens when Mr. Ayd inherits money that could turn his life around and get him off the streets. Taylor hopes of raising money through a fundraiser quickly dissipate as he finds himself trying to become Mr. Ayd’s friend with anterior motives.
Will Mr. Ayd become selfish or will he recall on his faith that it’s better to give than to receive?!
