Chris Webb

Crossjoin Consulting’s principal consultant, Chris Webb, has been working with Microsoft's Business Intelligence tools since 1998. He is a well-known figure in the Microsoft Business Intelligence community, contributing to newsgroups and online discussion forums. Chris is a regular speaker at international conferences such as PASS and the Microsoft BI conference. He is also a key member of the team that organises the SQLBITs conferences, which regularly attract over 300 members of the SQL Server community in the UK. Chris is a co-author of the books "MDX Solutions with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services 2005 and Hyperion Essbase" and "Expert Cube Development with SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services".

He blogs regularly about BI, Analysis Services and MDX at http://cwebbbi.spaces.live.com

Chris has extensive experience of implementing Business Intelligence solutions on the Microsoft platform across a wide range of industries including pharmaceuticals, banking, engineering, manufacturing, retail and market research. He has worked as a consultant for over seven years (including three years with Microsoft Consulting Services) and as a permanent employee on internal development teams for over six years, giving Chris valuable insight into the different demands of each role.
