MVP Tony Rogerson will lead a "chalk and talk" presentation around SQL Server 2014 Extreme Transaction Processing with In-Memory tables and Native Stored Procedures – also known as project Hekaton.
He will take us on a whizz around the new features introduced as part of project Hekaton; how to use them, when to use them and how they work. Tony will go in-depth on the important aspects i.e. hash and range indexing and multi-version concurrency control (MVCC). The session will mostly be demo led.

Rachel is an MCP and has worked as a software and database developer for over 17 years across a wide variety of private industries and is currently a SQL Server BI Developer for an international power tools company.
