Sprint Day: State of the Map US
Monday, April 14, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (EDT)
Even if you have a registration for the main State of the Map US conference, you need to separately register for this event.
For OpenStreetMap developers, the spritn day is a great chance to connect over implementing existing and new projects. For folks newer to OpenStreetMap or just wanting to help, this is a great opportunity involved with the project and make a real difference.
We'll spend the day working on a variety of programming and mapping projects, as well as documenting how to contribute to the map. Come out to help, map, and learn with other OpenStreetMap users.
Come with your laptop and ready to get down to work with others! Coffee and lunch will be provided. We'll get started at 9am and go until around 6pm, and will be at 430 17th Street, Washington, DC 20006. All are welcome and invited to attend, no matter what your technical background is.
A big thanks to our host the American Red Cross! We'll be working from the Red Cross' Historic National Headquarters, one of the oldest buildings in DC (it pre-dates the White House) and with views of the Washington Monument.
