Engage Students using Discussion Boards

In this session you will learn how to create discussion forums and threads and use them as a tool to increase student-student interaction.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Create a discussion forum and discussion threads
  • Apply settings to help manage interactions
  • Identify appropriate uses of discussion boards
  • Create a rubric and determine assessment methods for student contributions
  • Manage discussion activity in an effective and efficient manner
