The Sports Résumé presents the SPORTS CAREER CONFERENCE, the Training Camp for Sports Industry Job Seekers.
The Conference panel members and presenters were carefully selected based on their decision making authority (Hiring and Personnel Management), who will provide strategic guidance to help all attendees (Students, Recent Graduates, Profession Changers, etc....) achieve their employment goals within the industry.

The Most Important Conference Activity
Taleo is a cloud-based talent management platform used by Human Resource personnel to screen candidate application submissions (Pre-Screening questions, Cover Letter(s), Résumé/CV). The workshop will cover the following topics, followed by Q&A:
- A typical sports employment application + how it looks to a Recruiter using Taleo
- Résumé parsing and Keyword searching
- Conceptual Search Technology - where the system looks for related terms
- Screening Questions, and how they are used for candidate ranking
- ACE Candidates - TALEO term for "flagged" candidates, those who meet all job requirements
- The importance of meeting the job description criteria
