SPLICING AT YALE CORDAGE
The New England Chapter ISA in conjunction with Yale Cordage is excited to announce a great new offering, Splicing at Yale Cordage!
Learn to splice from the experts. This is an opportunity to learn splicing techniques on-site at Yale Cordage. Attendees* will begin on Friday, October 4th from 4-7pm with a tour of the Yale Cordage facility followed by a networking dinner on-site (you can expect some delicious local fare!).
Saturday, October 5th 8am-4pm, attendees will hit the ground running working with two Yale riggers to learn both Single Braid Polyester 12 strand – Yalex and Double Braid – 2 in 1 Polyester – Double Esterlon splices. Attendees will then be able to break-test their creations on-site!
Each participant will go home with a Single Braid Certification Kit (a $100 value) FREE!

Continuing Education Credits: Earn 6 CEUs
Hotel: - A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hampton Inn in Saco ME for just $104 per night (“Yale Cordage”). You can make your reservation by calling 1-207-282-7222. This block will be reserved until September 4th, 2013.

*Due to the fact that there will be proprietary information shared during this workshop, attendees will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and direct competitors will not be allowed to attend.

The New England Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Arborists in the New England area. Specifically, we offer local workshops where arborists can earn the CEUs they need to maintain their ISA certifications. We also offer a scholarship for students in the field of arboriculture and Arbor Day grants for Arbor Day activities in the region.
