Participants will develop a knowledge of common cervical spine injuries sustained during athletics and how to appropriately treat such injuries on and off the playing field.
Explain the most common athletic cervical spine injuries
Recognize when to spine board an injured athlete
Formulate a safe and appropriate return to play treatment
plan after a cervical spine injury.
