Rod Dreher is a Louisiana-born journalist who has written and edited for well-known newsrooms and publications across the U.S. He recently added memoirist to his credentials upon completing The Little Way of Ruthie Leming, a memoir of the life and death of his sister and his 2011 return to Louisiana in the wake of her death. Raised in West Feliciana Parish, Rod graduated from LSU in 1989 with a major in journalism. He has worked as a writer and editor at The Baton Rouge Advocate, The Washington Times, The New York Post, National Review, and The Dallas Morning News. He is now a senior editor at The American Conservative magazine, and writes about religion, politics, culture, travel and food. Rod lives in St. Francisville with his wife and three children.
