Speakeasy Records Festival Series Presents:
Exclusive House Concert & Reception with Kristin Diable at her Bywater home.
"There is a young woman out of south Louisiana who has got some serious chops, a peroxide, leggy crooner with a soul like Lucinda Williams, the confidence of Grace Slick and the voice of a decades-ago Bonnie Raitt..... It was Kristin Diable. Devil in a white dress. Biggest thing out of Baton Rouge since rush hour." - 2010 N.O. Jazz Fest review from Pulitzer Prize winning columnist Chris Rose
Escape the crowds and join us for a truly unique experience during this year's French Quarter Festival!
One of New Orleans' brightest rising stars and 2013 French Quarter Festival performer, singer-songwriter Kristin Diable, welcomes you into her home in New Orleans' thriving Bywater neighborhood for an intimate evening reception, exclusive house concert performance, and dinner and drinks by Saint Lawrence Restaurant.
Enjoy a glimpse into the artist's life and take a part of FQ Festival and this special musical experience home with you with a limited edition recording of the night's performance.
This will be our third year continuing this ground-breaking, sold out house concert series first held at KD's former Pontalba Residence (where the new record was created) during past year's French Quarter Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
House concerts are a one-of-a-kind music experience that allows both artist and listener to truly connect with the songs in an intimate and inviting setting is focused around the music and the people in the room. This is a listening room and musical experience unlike any venue or festival performance. Can't wait to share the night with you all.
*****Tickets are limited to just 25 guests each night, so be sure to grab yours in advance (the first series sold out in just a few days).
