Do you have an idea or question about space that you want to talk to people about? Do you want to learn what other people are thinking about space in our community? If you are interested in space, join us at SpaceUp Atlanta!
SpaceUp Atlanta is a space unconference, where participants decide the topics, schedule, and structure of the event. Everyone who attends SpaceUp is encouraged to give a talk, moderate a panel, or start a discussion. We hope to gather students, teachers, space professionals, and enthusiasts in the greater Atlanta regions to start forming a grassroot space community.
SpaceUp Atlanta 2013 will be taking place at the GTRI conference center at 250 14th Street, Atlanta, GA on Saturday, September 28th. The sign-in will start at 8:30am, and the event will start at 9 am. Tickets will include free t-shirts, breakfast, lunch and other fun memorabilias!
SpaceUp Atlanta will also feature T-5 talks, in which each speaker gets 5 minutes to talk, with a set of 20 slides that will rotate automatically every 15 seconds. For past examples about T-5 talks, see: http://spaceup.org/agenda/t-minus-5/
