Join us for a rare opportunity to photograph two historic Southern Pacific locomotives. 1921 Baldwin built Pacific SP 2472 and 1953 Fairbanks Morse H12-44 SP 1487*painted in the famous 1950’s Tiger-stripe scheme. These locomotives both ran on the San Francisco Peninsula in the 1950’s, and are joined again here this evening.

Camera capable of being manually set to "Bulb" setting for exposure duration, Manual selection of aperture, and a lens capable of being focused manually
For film cameras: cable release
For digital cameras: the electronic version of a cable release
Personal flashlight for viewing the camera settings in the dark.
Thomas can provide some last-minute camera adjustment advice, but participants must know how to set or adjust their cameras. On the night of the shoot, we will not have the time to coach individuals regarding how to adjust their (particularly digital) cameras.
Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. $25 GGRM and PLA members. $35 non-members.
