DIMA is a fully accredited international academy of music modeled after the great European schools, which goal is to groom students from age 6 to adulthood into well rounded musicians, thoroughly prepared to operate professionally in artistic and cultural areas that involve performance, instruction, appliance and creation of new musical ideas.
Right here in Dallas, DIMA will house the most talented teachers and students from around the world and will provide under one roof, all the education a student requires to fully develop as a professional musician. Currently DIMA offers a Bachelors degree and has plans to offer a Masters program within the next 2 years. The curriculum offered by DIMA is unprecedented not only in Dallas, but anywhere in the United States.
DIMA will be fully operational beginning in September 2013. However, the DIMA Summer Institute is conducting a two-week program of intensive instruction, seminars, and master classes. We have students from all over the world studying with some of the finest professors. The Sounds of Summer concert series is part of the program and it includes an array of professional concerts.
