Join us on February 8, 2013 from 5:30PM to 8:00PM at the Laniakea YWCA located at 1040 Richards Street in downtown Honolulu for a night of beautiful music and great company.
Sounding Joy Music Therapy will be celebrating their 10th anniversary with the second installment of the Kani Ka'Oli: A benefit concert, honoring Hawaiian music and culture. The Hawaii Tourism Authority and Sounding Joy Music Therapy presents the internationally famous Masaaki Band from Japan. What makes them so special is that despite the fact that all nine members of the band are visually impaired, they are still able to create beautiful music that touches everyone's hearts.
Along with the Masaaki band, enjoy a performance from, ukulele master, Kimo Hussey.
Proceeds from this event will provide Native Hawaiian communities with music therapy services. To purchase tickets and learn more about this event please visit: www.kanikaoli.soundingjoymt.org
