About the instructor — Newsha Rostampour

From a very early age, Newsha, aka Yogi Nikita, has loved being active. An athlete most of her life, she dedicated 9 years to gymnastics and dance, and continued later on by teaching gymnastics and breakdancing while also pursuing other types of modern dance well into her college years. A Colorado native, Newsha also progressed into a supported snowboard athlete which is when yoga really started to become a huge role in her life.

Newsha's intense love for yoga flourished even more over time and she decided to pursue teaching yoga. She received her first Hot Yoga/Hot Power Fusion teaching certificate in 2010. Soon after, Newsha successfully completed Power Vinyasa, Yoga Sculpt, and Yin/Restorative Teacher Trainings, and has continued to share her love for yoga, and music, ever since.
