Hello! I'm Kate Weber, Army Veteran and founder/facilitator of Tri County Collaborative for Military, Veterans and their Families. I am also a passionate advocate against rape and MST, and was in the documentary "The Invisible War". In February of 2013, I graduated from the trauma recovery program created for us by professionals and funded by producer Regina Kulik-Scully. http://www.notinvisible.org/recovery_program
I have lived in Sonoma County for 20 years and I have been a veteran in the Santa Rosa VA Clinic since I was 20 years old. I have so much information to share and I hope to learn from you all as well.
I am a VA Service Connected Veteran for PTS from Military Sexual Assault (Rape by a fellow soldier; I was 18). I am a mom of 4, an Advocate for Women and children, and I want to share my recovery and journey with women who have also served. We have so much in common, which means we have respect and understanding for one another. Let's learn to be gentle to ourselves and one another. I look forward to meeting more of you sisters soon.
