HELPING KIDS WITH CANCER
WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS
FEATURING THE MUSIC OF
“It was 50 years ago today….” 50 years ago, on August 23, 1964, The Beatles played the Hollywood Bowl. Since then, the lads from Liverpool have sold millions of albums and inspired many great musical artists. SONGS FOR A CURE brings the music of The Beatles back to Hollywood for a good cause – helping the fight against pediatric cancer.
Songs for a Cure will feature some of LA’s best new musical talent (as well as some surprise guests), performing 30 songs from Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Beatles Songs list.
Join us for this fun event, For The Kids.
The event will benefit Lights Camera Cure (“LCC”), a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization. LCC’s mission is to raise money and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer, including patient and family support and research. The organization’s primary fundraiser is the annual Hollywood Dance Marathon, held at the historic Avalon Theater in the heart of Hollywood. The 2014 benefit in March raised nearly $85,ooo for pediatric cancer programs at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and The Four Diamonds Fund.
