Join us for a celebration of the La Peña Cultural Center Song of Unity Mural Inauguration.
We are so grateful for your ongoing support, for the artists, the
musicians, the dancers, the cooks, the audiences… everyone who has had
a hand in making the mural re-do a reality.
Here we are 9 months from the start of our fundraising efforts still working toward the
finish line with 5K still pending but almost there… And the work on
the mural will be completed this October so there is much to celebrate!
There will be an Arts & Craft Fair outside and inside La Pena starting at 4 PM.
At 7:30 PM we will begin an auction for the rescued pieces of the
previous Song of Unity mural, donated art by the muralists &
At 9:00 PM we will have a dance party in the cultural room (admission $10 and up sliding scale)
Thorough out the day we will have food for sale, all food profits go to
the mural and we promise to have delicious Latin American flavors for
you that day!
