Benefit for Reporters Without Borders Journalist Assistance Fund
In memory of our colleagues Tim Hetherington and Chris Hondros, The Epoch Times cordially invites you to attend an evening of discussion and remembrance on recent events in the Middle East, from Egypt to Libya. The event will consist of a panel of journalists who have recently reported in the region.
- Lynsey Addario (www.lynseyaddario.com)
- Spencer Platt (Getty Images)
- Ron Haviv (co-founder VII Photo Agency) (www.ronhaviv.com)
- Robert Nickelsberg (former TIME Magazine contract photographer) (www.robertnickelsberg.com)
All profits from the event will go to the journalist assistance fund for Reporters Without Borders in memory of Chris and Tim. Part of the evening will also be a memoriam for our friends and colleagues. Attendees are invited to leave messages for the families, which will be delivered by The Epoch Times.
This is part of a forum series called "Ground View;" intriguing and informative events featuring remarkable photojournalists who have witnessed some of the world's most important news firsthand. Chris Hondros and Tim Hetherington were past participants in Ground View events.
