Join @EcoOutfitters for the next #SolarChat, to be held on Twitter on August 22, from 2-3:00 p.m. EST. Our topic: "Debunking Solar Myths." We'll be joined by Paul Bakhoum (@ecoSolargy), vice president of operations of ecoSolargy, Sarah Darapondeth ("Sarah Dara" - @SolarSarahDara), an ecoSolargy account manager, and Kate Bayard, director of marketing for SolarDock (@solardock).

As VP of operations for ecoSolargy, Paul oversees corporate affairs, supply chain operations and legal services. To foster growth and promote, Paul is spearheading a comprehensive business transformation while increasing ecoSolargy's presence throughout North America.

Darapondeth, a proud account manager at ecoSolargy, handles nationwide accounts and business developments. Before she became a member of the ecoSolargy team, Sarah worked as a restaurant manager for more than seven years where she adopted her mantra of providing the highest level of service to every guest, every time. With a passion for environmental sustainability, it was natural for Sarah to join the renenwable energy industry. She was able to turn a leisure interest into a blossoming career.  Sarah's ability to learn and transition in this fast-paced environment has gained her the trust and respect from clients and colleagues alike. She is committed to the everyday impact of today for a better, greener tomorrow.

Kate Bayard, the director of marketing for SolarDock, has been with the company since its founding in 2003. She is passionate about creating great customer experiences and improving business processes from top to bottom. Kate has an MBA with a focus in Sustainability from UNC-Chapel Hill.

#SolarChat welcomes solar and renewable industry experts and consumers who are "solar curious" to discuss relevant issues like solar energy, solar PV, solar hot water, solar pool heating, and related subjects. The Twitter chat provides an opportunity to connect homeowners and qualified installation professionals, to demonstrate the affordability and environmental impact of all types of solar solutions, and to educate consumers on this emerging field. "We believe in the power of solar to change the world," says Raina Russo, co-founder and president of EcoOutfitters.net and founder of #SolarChat (@EcoOutfitters). "We hope #SolarChat will further advance EcoOutfitters' goal of making solar a reality for every American home and business."

For those new to Twitter, a hashtag (#) is an easy way to find and follow people who are tweeting about a certain topic. #SolarChat has a simple mission: Curious consumers, energy experts, and installation professionals can tune into Twitter at the designated chat time to share advice and resources, weigh in on discussion topics, pose questions or concerns, and work together to advance solar awareness.

#SolarChat is held on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month from 2:00-3:00 p.m. EST.
