Solar Hosting, Community Solar Gardens, Offsite Solar - What are they and how can you participate?
Monday, June 4, 2012 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM (PDT)
San Diego, CA
You've heard about them: Solar Hosting, Community Solar Gardens, Offsite Solar.
What does it all mean? How can you participate?
Solar Hosting provides affordable access to solar for everyone. Solar power has been a clean and sustainable energy source available only for home/land owners who could afford it. Solar Hosting uses a crowdfunded approach to solar making it affordable in places never before possible. Now, anyone can offset the cost of their utility electric bill and make an investment in solar with immediate returns. Imagine solar panels on urban infill parcels of land funded by friends/neighbors and seeing positive results right on their utility bill.
Join us for an insightful event to explore this new solar model, as well as an overview of the pending legislation and utility programs.
