Social Value Measurement Workshop
Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM (CST)
Saint Louis, MO
Attend this FREE seminar for social entrepreneurs, innovators, and funders to learn about our simple framework for establishing funding relationships
• Social entrepreneurs and innovators increasingly seek resources from foundations, philanthropists, and government sources that require a new type of funding request
• Agencies, social impact investors, and other groups supporting social innovation expect new relationships that are different from standard grant applications
The Skandalaris Center and the YouthBridge Community Foundation have evaluated over 250 social enterprise ventures over the past eight years of the YouthBridge Social Enterprise and Innovation Competition.
This workshop will summarize the approach we use to assess ventures’ social value measurement plans using five criteria that offer a common language to improve dialog between entrepreneurs and funders.
Thanks to the generosity of the Nine Network of Public Media, this seminar will be available for online viewing. When you register, we will ask you to indicate whether you plan to attend in person, or view the seminar online. SPACE IS LIMITED! Please only register to attend in person if you expect to be able to do so. We will host a reception after the workshop at 5:00 for all those present to connect with and help each other.
