Social Media Workshop

This two hour social media workshop will take students through the best ways to utilize social media through an actionable strategy using storytelling, engaging content generation and social media monitoring. Participants will leave with a detailed understanding of both the current social media landscape and how to evaluate which tools or social platforms are the best fit for their organization's strategic goals. Topics to be covered will include: an overview of social media platforms, current social media trends and their implications, how to tailor social media tools to your existing business strategies and social media tools for monitoring ROI. Case studies and tactics will be presented throughout the session and participants will gain hands on knowledge.
None, but a laptop would be beneficial to jump into some tools during the workshop.
About the Instructor:
Kyle Dineen is a Project Manager for Cashmere Agency, a lifestyle communications and marketing firm based in Los Angeles. He has managed successful campaigns for various award winning recording artists, brands, television shows, and films. Through years of experience building creative campaigns that utilitze a wide array of social networks, he has extensive knowledge of best practices and unique tricks for Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, Vine, and various other platforms.
