Social Media Spring Training is a 3-part series of workshops designed to help small business owners and nonprofits get started using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and video marketing. The series runs over three consecutive weeks at the Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce offices, April 10, 17 and 24, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Participants can take one, two or all three workshops.
Christine Halvorson of Halvorson New Media, presenter, encourages participants to bring their laptops for hands-on learning.
Since Facebook is the number one social media site for businesses, showing no signs of waning, it is the focus of the first two workshops--Beginner and Advanced Facebook for Business. The third workshop, Round-up, will cover:
- Twitter: Just enough information to help you decide whether or not to add this site to your marketing mix;
- LinkedIn: Using it for personal branding AND your business
- Video marketing: An overview of the basics; cheap ways to create & edit
Call Chris at 603-203-0593 or email with questions: email@example.com
Participants will receive take-home worksheets, an online version of the presentations for review, and a discount to attend an advanced workshop in the area in May.
Light refreshments, coffee and water will be available during these workshops.
