Noon-2:00 p.m. TWEETUP FOR LUNCH

Join us for lunch in Pahoa on Sunday, June 30 at the new Mauka-Makai restaurant, meet your social media friends in real life, and support Chef Thomas Aiu’s launch of “farm to table” dining while enjoying ono grinds and talk story.

Located at what used to be KFC, the Mauka-Makai family restaurant is dedicated to serving healthy meals using ingredients from local farmers, fishermen and ranchers. Chef Thomas is also committed to supporting local community organizations, including the Hawai'i Youth Business Center.
