Audience Development in the Digital Age
In the 10+ years since THE CLUETRAIN MANIFESTO first hit the Internet, marketers have grappled with how to leverage digital media to reach customers more effectively, and the majority have failed. Frequently, miserably, and sometimes even unapologetically. Traditional book publishers, most of whom have historically worked via intermediaries and been happy to do so, were relatively late to realizing the benefits of engaging directly with their real customers – readers – and have been playing catch up out of necessity as traditional sales channels are on the decline and new intermediaries like Amazon and Apple now know more about their readers than they ever have.

Brown’s Brewing is currently renovating Revolution Hall to include a full service catering kitchen and mahogany bar that will feature Brown’s craft brewed ales and lagers, wine and liquor. About Social Media Breakfast
Social Media Breakfast was founded by Bryan Person in August 2007 as an event where social media experts and newbies alike come together to eat, meet, share, and learn. Marketers, PR pros, entrepreneurs, bloggers, podcasters, new-media fanatics, and online social networkers are all welcome to attend.
The breakfast series began in Boston and has now spread to more than 35 cities throughout the United States and around the world. It was brought to Tech Valley by Amy Mengel in June 2009.
